Jesus Is For Everyone
Jesus isn’t just for some of us.
He’s for everyone — no exceptions.
Not a metaphor, not a doctrine, just radical love.
Jesus didn’t teach a metaphysical message. He taught us how to treat people — the poor, the outcasts, the sinners, the forgotten — with dignity and care.
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed.” - Luke 4:18
“The second is like this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” - Mark 12:31
We’ve turned religion into rules, politics into division, and morality into performance.
But Jesus’ message wasn’t about belief. It was about action, compassion, and rejecting the power of wealth over humanity.
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” - Matthew 7:21
“for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me… ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” - Matthew 25:35-40
Jesus didn’t call the righteous. He called sinners. He ate with tax collectors and outcasts. When asked why, he said:
“Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do. But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” - Matthew 9:10-13
This message doesn’t require conversion, labels, or “belief.”
Gay, trans, atheist, rich, poor — if you choose to love your neighbor, you are part of it.
Come as you are. Love as you are.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” - John 13:34-35
In the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus made it clear: your neighbor isn’t defined by identity, religion, or status. Your neighbor is anyone in need. And the one who showed mercy — the one who acted — was the one who got it right.
“Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?” He said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.” - Luke 10:36-37
Jesus is for everyone. That’s the movement, not a label.
If you care about people, you’re already part of it.
Let’s talk about what radical love looks like today.
